Lynne McDonald

Lynne McDonald is a juried artist whose work is best known for the process in which she paints. Lynne’s passion for art was sparked at a crucial time in her life, leading her to express her feelings and emotions of loss through her artistry which she now uses to help others. Lynne has created a significant body of work found in and around the Atlanta area and internationally. The award-winning abstract artist keeps pushing boundaries and exploring new ways of expression for collectors online and in 14 solo shows and countless collaborations. Notably, she’s had her work published and has also sold her work in partnership with Ligne Roset and IO Metro. Lynne currently has representation in Seaside, FL. Asheville, NC, Montréal, Canada and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Previously, Lynne studied psychology and used her knowledge of the human psyche to become a marketing specialist in digital imagery, which was in its infancy at the time, with clients like Pixar, Disney and Industrial Light & Magic. Her experience amasses over 20 years in marketing and building strategies for high-tech startups in Silicon Valley and Atlanta. She also has her certification in Art Therapy.

She has been involved in many charities and non-profit organizations dedicated to type 1 diabetes, which she’s had since she was a teenager. Organizations such as Camp Kudzu, dedicated to supporting and educating children with type 1 diabetes, Breakthrough T!D Atlanta, American Diabetes Association and the California Diabetes Association.
