Kim Cooper

President / Board of Children Helping Children

Kim Cooper is no stranger to the world of nonprofit organizations, having been heavily involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Cure Childhood Cancer, and the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for over 19 years, serving as spokesperson, fundraiser, volunteer, and ambassador. She is currently President of the Board for Children Helping Children, a nonprofit that educates and empowers the youth in Atlanta. Most notably, she is the Founder of Stars and Cigars, an annual community event that has granted 25 wishes for children through Make-A-Wish Georgia.

These causes hit close to home for Kim, whose oldest daughter is a childhood cancer survivor and Make-A-Wish recipient herself. Kim knows firsthand the Love, Light, and support generated from organizations like CHC which fuels her deep passion to make a personal difference in children’s lives. Professionally, Kim has served in marketing, publishing, advertising, sales, and media relations both locally and internationally. When she’s not engaged in professional pursuits or spending time with her family, she enjoys dinner with friends, outdoor adventures, and exploring the world through travel.
