Michele P. Thomas is an accomplished professional serving as the Associate Director of Institutional Fundraising in the Office of Institutional Advancement at Morehouse School of Medicine. In this role, she oversees project management for fundraising initiatives, leveraging Smartsheet for data input, tracking, and reporting to prospect leads. She plays an active part in her community, serving as a planning committee member for The Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Observance and as a host committee member for The Pink Frog Foundation, Inc. Additionally, Michele mentors a third grader at Tuskegee Airmen Global Academy.
Her achievements and dedication to excellence have earned her several recognitions, including being named a Top 10 winner in Best Self Atlanta Magazine's Over 40 & Fabulous contest in 2017, with follow-up features in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024. She was further honored by being listed in Marquis Who’s Who in 2021.
Michele is an active member of several professional organizations, such as the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Academic Impressions and the Association of Donor Professionals. She is a proud alumna of Clark Atlanta University, where she earned her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Michele now resides in Covington, Georgia, where she is a dedicated member of Springfield Baptist Church. A firm believer in holistic well-being, Michele credits managing her diet, exercising regularly, and nurturing relationships with family and friends as the keys to living her best life.
